Project Agreement signed with the Government of Cambodia
Decarbonization & Green (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. completed a formal Project Agreement with the Ministry of Environment — the model we are now bringing to Nepal.
After eight years of groundwork in Cambodia — from the first 100 ha bamboo afforestation study in Psa Village to KOICA support and a signed No Objection Letter — Decarbonization & Green (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. has now completed a full Project Agreement with the Kingdom of Cambodia’s Ministry of Environment.
The agreement covers a 25-year term (renewable for a further 25 years) for bamboo reforestation and biochar carbon-credit production across Community Protected Areas (CPAs), in cooperation with 10,000 local households.
Why it matters for Nepal
This is the exact regulatory pathway we are replicating in Nepal. Having proven the model end-to-end in Cambodia, we are confident the Nepalese process — from feasibility to a signed agreement — can be completed in under a year.
Carbon-negative. Future-positive.
